Cindy Prater was born and raised in San Angelo in West Texas but spent all her growing-up summers on the family ranch in San Saba County, moving here permanently when it was time to raise her own family. Cindy and her husband, Ken Prater, have three children, the fifth generation of her family to call San Saba home.
